Alabama’s Dramatic SEC Championship Win Highlights a Great Weekend of College Football
With a trip to the national title game on the line, you would hope that the competing teams would put it all on the line in order to win. I think it is safe to say that is exactly what the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide did.
The Bulldogs will likely be kicking themselves over this one as they prepare to play in the Capital One Bowl instead of the BCS title game. Aaron Murray had the 'Dogs moving and within reach of the go-ahead score, but instead of having him spike the ball to stop the clock the coaches had him run a play (mistake No. 1). Alabama defended the play well getting a hand on the ball before it tumbled into the arms of a Georgia receiver that was falling down (mistake No. 2)...
