I would be willing to bet that we will likely hear something from Pete Carroll once again about how he said years ago that Mark Sanchez should have stayed in college. Maybe he's right; maybe he's wrong. That is something that we will never know.
That being said, the man has had some highlights and not just a few. There have been times where he did look like the QB of the future. He's just been too inconsistent (because he probably did need the extra tutoring in college) and is likely done in New York.
His career could still end up being a solid one. I am sure most of you are aware who Drew Brees is. Remember his first few seasons in San Diego? The man was so-so at best. Then he heads to New Orleans and becomes the uber stud that he is known as today.
