Matt Kemp Literally Gives Fan the Shirt Off His Back

From a fantasy perspective I--like many guys out there--have always been a fan of Matt Kemp (sorry man, I'm an Astros and Rangers fan). However, after watching this clip of what he did during last weekend's Dodgers/Giants series Matt Kemp will forever be one of my favorite players.

In case you didn't feel like watching the video, it appears as if someone has told Kemp about this guy that has been described  as 'fighting a tough battle' who had a baseball he would like signed (one person commented on the YouTube page for the video that he had recently had surgery to remove a brain tumor; don't know if that is true or not).

Kemp jogs over and signs the ball, and then without appearing to even second guess the decision hands him his hat, jersey, and cleats right off his head, back and feet!

That kind of stuff would make anyone's day let alone someone who is undergoing a struggle like this young man. To not hesitate just goes to show how much he cares about the fans and is willing to go the extra mile to make a difference.

There are not enough guys like Matt Kemp that would be willing to do what he did--or would even think about it. You are a man among men Mr. Kemp and have made a fan out of me for years to come--even if I'm not playing fantasy baseball!
