Matt Kemp Talks About Giving His Jersey, Hat, and Cleats Away and Prioritizing Life

Over the last couple days Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp has gotten a lot of attention for an act of kindness that he showed to a young fan over the weekend during the team's series with the San Francisco Giants. In this clip he talks about the whole scene, how he didn't know anyone was filming, and why he did what he did.

After seeing the clip of him giving away everything but his pants, socks, and t-shirt he became my favorite player (regardless of his fantasy baseball impact). After watching this clip I think I might go get a Matt Kemp jersey.

Hopefully MLB is taken notice and will realize that is players like this that they need to be promoting as much as possible. He is a credit to the Dodgers and to the game.
