Jalen Myrick's 100-Yd Kickoff Return Gives Minnesota the Edge Over Northwestern [GIF]

When you have a game that is being well played by both teams it is often the big play that turns the tide in favor of one or the other. That was certainly the case for the Minnesota Gophers in Saturday's game against the Northwestern Wildcats.

Momentum was in Northwestern's favor after Trevor Siemian capped off a 97-yard touchdown drive to tie the game up midway through the fourth quarter--but not for long.

Jalen Myrick took the ensuing kickoff 100-yards for a touchdown to give the Gophers back the lead and the win, 24-17.

Minnesota will look to remain undefeated in Big Ten play when they take on Purdue at TCF Stadium next week.
