WATCH: Best Player, Celebrity and Family Reactions from Saturday's NBA All-Star Events in GIFs (and one pic)

The NBA All-Star Events are just a precursor to the real action on Sunday, but they can be pretty fun to watch--and not just because of the action. From players hamming it up to celebrity and family reactions there is no shortage of entertainment for folks--and the internet--to enjoy.

Case in point--Skylar Diggins snarling during the Shooters Stars Challenge.

WATCH: Highlights From the NBA Slam Dunk Contest

The NBA Dunk Contest has come and gone, and while it did generate some controversy with a screwy format it also did what it set out to do--gave fans a chance to see some of their favorite players show off. Washington fans have to proud of John Wall for winning the contest, but they have to know he was lucky he didn't have to face off with Paul George

Other highlights included Terrance Ross getting a helping hand from Drake among a few other things like this jam from Team East.

Pacers Paul George Should Have Been in the Dunk Contest Finals (if the contest had finals this year)

The NBA tried too change things up for the Dunk Contest, but in the process ended up taking away from it by not making it possible for the best two in the group to duke it out in the end. While John Wall's slam was pretty nice, it wasn't better than the one Paul George threw down.

WATCH: Terrance Ross Gets an Assist From Drake in the NBA Dunk Contest

Drake's appearance with Terrance Ross at the Dunk Contest Saturday night should come as no surprise to anyone. The young superstar is working with the Toronto Raptors on branding and marketing efforts. What may have come as a bit of a surprise is Drake being used as a prop during the contest.

WATCH: John Wall Wins the NBA Slam Dunk Contest

The NBA changed things up a bit for the dunk contest to try and spice things up a little, but in the end it came down to the same old thing--who could come up with the most epic jam of the night. There were plenty of great ones, but in the end there could be only one winner.

This time it was John Wall of the Washington Wizards!

Paul George Wins the All-Star Weekend Fashion War [PHOTO]

Many of the NBA biggest stars are known as much for the fashion prowess as they are their on-court skills. When you consider how good they are on the court--well, that just tells a little about what their fashion game must be like than.

However, even though there is still the actual game itself still to come on Sunday I think it is safe to say that Paul George won.

Missouri Student Body Forms Barrier to Keep Picketers Away From Basketball Game Football Team Honored At

Michael Sam has been dominating the headlines for the last week ever since he announced to the world that he is gay. The announcement has elicited a lot of hate from people, but that did not stop him from attending Saturday's basketball game between Missouri and Tennessee where the football team was honored at halftime.

While there will be many that will call him courageous for doing so the real kudos in this case belong to the fans.

Auburn Fan Sinks Putt the Length of a Basketball Court to Win New Car [VIDEO]

Rather than just have another half court shooting contest to win some sort of awesome prize Auburn decided to change it up a little. As much as we like seeing the every-man win tuition or some crazy amount of cash half court shots are getting kind of old.

Full court putts though....

Johnny Manziel: I was born during halftime of a Cowboys game.

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel has been busy training for the NFL; too busy to party like a rock star during Super Bowl Week (it was pretty cold up there) and too busy to do anything that TMZ would care about.

Recently he decided it was time to share with the media--and when I say share I mean share.

T.J. Oshie is a Winner in More Ways Than One--Check Out his Fiance Lauren Cosgrove! [PHOTOS]

While America falls in love with Team USA hockey star T.J. Oshie the nation also gets the chance to see who he has fallen in love with--the lovely Ms. Lauren Cosgrove! The two are engaged (lucky dude) and are expecting an edition to the family soon. Yes, guys, Ms. Cosgrove is seven months pregnant (hence not being in Sochi with him).

So enjoy the good times while you can T.J. Pretty soon it will be late night diaper changes and spit up!

President Obama Gives T.J. Oshie Props on Twitter; Oshie Gives Credit to More Deserving Heroes

Many have criticized President Obama for being vocal with when it comes to his love of sports, but his approach to sports is probably one of the smartest moves he's made (not related to any actual business of state of course).

The American people love sports so how better to connect with them and show that he is just like they are than to be a fan?

Blues Star T.J. Oshie Leads Team USA to Victory Over Russia! [GIFs]

I'll admit--I don't watch a lot of hockey during the NHL season; I'm more of a playoff time kind of guy (and more of a football, baseball, rugby and basketball fan). However, when it becomes a matter of national pride I'm like lots of people--Team USA is can't miss television for me!

So when I woke up this afternoon (it was a long night; sick, cranky kids and all) I watched the USA vs. Russia hockey game and loved every second of it--especially the performance America's new sweetheart T.J. Oshie put on in the shootout!

Arizona State Knocks Off No. 2 Arizona with Epic Finish [Must See Stuff]

Anytime you have rivals meet on the court there is a strong chance fans are going to be treated to an epic game. There is just something about beating 'that other team' that tends to get players to lift their game up an extra notch or two--like the Arizona State Sun Devils did against No. 2 Arizona Friday night.

Not only did the Sun Devils take it to the Wildcats--they gave fans easily the best finish of the season.

It is not an uncommon practice. Many have done it and many will likely try to do it again. I'm talking about growing rally beards. With a tough stretch up ahead Louisville head coach Rick Pitino has decided it's time for his boys to do it.

Did James Harden Motorboat Trevor Ariza?

James Harden's layup in the closing seconds of Wednesday night's game against the Washington Wizards was a thing of beauty; well, for Houston fans at least. Ed Reed's time in Houston continued to be somewhat of a mystery recently. His time as a player was mercifully cut short after the aging veteran failed to live up to any of the hype and expectations. Recently he was back in town though and carrying around $50,000 in cash.

What in the world does someone carry around $50K for? Did he want to get robbed--because he was?

Jerry Jones Keeping Bill Callahan Due to Fear of Deja vu?

It must be tough owning an NFL franchise. Who am I kidding? It has to rock! You own it so no one can tell you what to do with it (to a degree), you can hire who you want, you can draft who you want; heck, it is the ultimate game of fantasy football.

Right Jerry Jones?

There isn't really a whole lot of sports tied in to this issue of the popular sports magazine, but it is easily one of the most popular issues of the year. Maybe it's because we know the models had to play plenty of sports in order to look like they do. Maybe its the swimsuits or the scenery.

Media Creating Stories to Keep Michael Sam's Name in Headlines Longer

When Missouri defensive lineman Michael Sam announced to the world that he is gay Sunday the reaction was about what you would expect. There were plenty that spoke out in support, many that were not, and a good number that didn't care and thought Sam's proclamation was not new-worthy

WATCH: Hoosiers Put on Dunk Display in Loss to Penn State

The way the game finished for the Indiana Hoosiers Wednesday night sucked--that goes without saying and not just because the team lost.  It is kind of hard to win a game when you make just one basket from the floor in the last five minutes of a game.

Okay--now that the complaining is out of the way--there was something about the game that I wanted to recognize.

Kentucky's Willie Cauley-Stein with the 'Ooh! That Had to Hurt!' Dunk of the Night [GIF]

Willie Cauley-Stein is fast becoming one of my favorite players in college basketball. He is young and still learning how to best use his 7' frame, but when the youngster does get in the game you want to watch and see what he does.

It may not always be fantastic, but when it is--man, is it ever!

Penn State Proves You Can Never Say Die in Win Over Indiana

It is something that you always here, but more often than not it sounds hollow--it ain't over till it's over. If you've ever played in an organized league of any sorts you've heard it on your own sideline if not the other team's. However, there are plenty of times where it certainly looks over even though it isn't.

Wednesday night was not one of those times for the Nittany Lions men's basketball team.

One of the greatest parts things about the Olympics is not the spirit of competition (okay, that is pretty great), but the fact that so many extremely hot women are gathered in one place at one time. To be one of the guys in Olympic Village--talk about lucky.

Jimmer Freddette Reminds People How Awesome He Is Against the Knicks

During Jimmer Freddette's senior season at BYU he was the hottest shooter in the nation. You were almost guaranteed to see something exciting happen when he got his hands on the ball. As good as he was though, there were many that doubted whether he had what it took to make it in the NBA.

LeBron James Tries Michael Jordan's Free Throw Dunk and It Was--Eh

LeBron James has been teasing fans recently with some videos online of him doing some dunk contest style jams after practice. As you would expect they are absolutely awesome for the most part. That's right--I said 'most part' because all of them don't rock.

His attempt at the free throw line dunk that Michael Jordan made famous back in the day was--well, it just didn't compare.
