WATCH: Washington State QB Luke Falk Connects With Gabe Marks For Go-Ahead Score With 3 Seconds Left

After the Bruins were able to take the lead with a little over a minute left UCLA fans likely thought it was safe to start celebrating, but Washington State quarterback Luke Falk has had a knack for making fourth quarter comebacks. With the way the Cougars pass the ball it would not be impossible for them to do it again.

Sure enough--they did. With three seconds to go Falk connected with Gabe Marks for a game winning 21-yard touchdown pass.

WATCH: UCLA QB Josh Rosen Takes Off On 60-Yard Touchdown Run To Give UCLA A Late Lead

Josh Rosen is not known for being a runner. In fact, heading in to Saturday night's game against Washington State he only had 22 official carries for -28 yards. So it is probably safe to say that the Washington State defenders were not expecting him to take off and run. So when he did it had to be a little shocking--especially since no  one tackled him and he was able to make it 60 yards for the go-ahead touchdown.

The two point conversion gave UCLA a three point lead at the time:

WATCH: Uriah Hall And Robert Whitaker Put On A Good Show At #UFC193

Holly Holm won the night with a surprising upset knockout of Ronda Rousey, but the ladies were not the only entertaining match of the night. The card was full of them actually. Uriah Hall and Robert Whitaker put on a pretty good show in their fight. It ended up going to the judges (yuck), but they actually got it right.

Hall put up a good fight, but Whitaker deserved to take this one:

Holly Holm Credits Her Coaches After Upset Win--And It's Not Hard To See Why [VIDEO]

Holly Holm did the unbelievable Saturday night and defeated Ronda Rousey in dominant fashion with a knockout in the second round. Afterwards she gave credit where it was due--to her coaches. Not that she doesn't deserve plenty of the credit herself for forcing Ronda to fight her fight, but her coaches helped her figure out how to do it.

How else do you explain her being able to escape Rousey so easily here?

WATCH: Holly Holm With The Celebratory Back Flip After Knocking Out Ronda Rousey At #UFC193

She did it. She knocked out the champ--excuse me, former champ. It wasn't some long drawn out fight that went to the judges. Holly Holm flat out dominated Ronda Rousey. I can only imagine how she is going to celebrate this win.

A back flip in the ring is a start:

#UFC193: Holly Holms Knocks Ronda Rousey Out In Second Round!

It had to happen eventually. No one can stay undefeated forever, and so it happens to Ronda Rousey. When the fight lasted more than a round you had to know something was up, and sure enough it was. Holm took care of business and defeated the mighty Rousey.

It looks like she busted her nose open with this blow:

#UFC193: Joanna Jędrzejczyk Lands Kick To The Face Of Valérie Létourneau; Wins Via Unanimous Decision

Fans at and watching UFC 193 at home are being treated to a pair of championship fights. First--Joanna Jędrzejczyk defended her strawweight belt against Valérie Létourneau. She ended up being successful in the defense winning the fight via unanimous decision over Létourneau, but it was not an easy fight.

Most people would have been done after taking a kick like this to face, but Létourneau was able to keep going and make Jędrzejczyk earn the win:

#UFC193: Mark Hunt Drops Bigfoot Silva For The First Round TKO

If you have not watched Mark Hunt before you have missed a guy that can throw some seriously heavy blows. Prior to Saturday night's fight with Bigfoot Silva six of his ten wins had come by KO or TKO via punches. After his fight against Silva you can make it seven of his 11 wins.

When you can make a big man like Silva crumble like he does here you have to be throwing some seriously heavy blows:

WATCH: Why Kliff Kingsbury Should Have Never Let Baker Mayfield Walk In One Play

Pat Mahomes is a good quarterback so I can understand why Kliff Kingsbury is starting him, but why on Earth did he let Baker Mayfield walk? A guy with the game that he has is the kind of player you find a scholarship for just to keep him from playing for someone else--but Kingsbury didn't.

So Mayfield is going to make magic happen for the Sooners like he does here:

WATCH: Baylor Player Caught Telling Another To Go Down With An Injury

You always hate to see a player get hurt during a game. We watch football in order to be entertained and we hope that our team will do bad things to the other guys, but we don't want people to get hurt. Next to injuries there is one thing we don't want to see more--fake injuries.

If you are going to do it at least don't get caught being told to go down by another player.

#UFC193: Jake Mathews Wins By TKO After Seriously Messing Up Akbarh Arreola's Eye

Jake Mathews is a relative new comer to the UFC having only nine fights under his belt prior to Saturday's fight in Australia against Akbarh  Arreola as part of the UFC 193 card. So when you are a youngster like he is every fight counts and you need to take every chance possible to make an impression on people.

He certainly made an impression on Arreola's eye. He beat on it so bad that the doctor had to call the fight:

WATCH: 400+ Pound Baylor TE LaQuan McGowan With The Touchdown Reception

The Baylor Bears are in a dog fight Saturday night with Oklahoma and will need to have someone step up and make a big play or two if they are going to be able to pull out the win and keep their national title hopes alive. They got one from the largest player on the field--400+ pound tight end LaQuan McGowan.

Does anyone else really want to see him catch one around midfield so we can guys try to tackle him?

Oklahoma DL Matt Dimon Ejected For Kicking Baylor Player; Keeps It 'Classy' With Baylor Fans [VIDEO]

Football can be a pretty intense game. It doesn't matter if you are playing on Sundays and getting paid millions, on Saturdays in front of 100,000 people, under the Friday night lights, or just in the neighborhood with your friends. People get into it and will sometimes do things in the heat of the moment they know better than to do.

That is what happened to Oklahoma defensive lineman Matt Dimon Saturday night against Baylor. After getting knocked on his can he decided to kick one of the Baylor players so he was ejected. On the way off the field he made his parents proud by having a few choice words with the Baylor fans:

#UFC193: James Moontasri Finishes Anton Zafir With A Spinning Back Kick And Elbow

If you want are a UFC fighter that wants to get noticed it probably doesn't hurt to get on the under card of a big main event like Rousey-Holm/ Of course once you get there you better win, and if you can do it in a way people will remember and want to talk about.

You know--like how James Moontasri finished off Anton Zafir:

#UFC193: Gian Villante Knocks Out Anthony Perosh With Devastating Right Hand

Often times the ref needs to wait and see what happens after a fighter gets floored be it with a kick or a punch or some combination of the two. That was far from the case after Gian Villante floored Anthony Perosh with a heavy right hand Saturday night at UFC 193 in Australia.

Good night Mr. Perosh!

#UFC193: Kyle Noke Makes Quick Work Of Peter Sobotta With a Devastating Body Kick And A Flurry Of Punches

The fight everyone wants to watch at UFC 193 is the Ronda Rousey-Holly Holm one of course, but the fighters before them are doing their best to make sure fans are entertained while they wait for the main event. Kyle Noke certainly did his part by taking out Peter Sobotta with a hard kick to the gut that sent him flying and a flurry of punches.

Well done Mr. Noke. Well done indeed.

Former Mississippi State FB Player Tim Bailey Returns From Active Duty To Surprise Family Prior To Alabama Game [VIDEO]

We don't see too many videos of soldiers reuniting with family members anymore, and that is just a darn shame. Soldiers deserve to have those moments with their families. One soldier got to have that moment with his family prior to the Mississippi State-Alabama game.

His name is Tim Bailey and he is a former Mississippi State football player. It looks like they have a hard time getting the family in the right position (so they can't see him coming), but it is pretty clear when he hits the field:

WATCH: Indiana RB Jordan Howard Puts Hoosiers Back On Top With 24-Yard Touchdown Run

It has been a long time since Indiana has managed to pull out a win over Michigan, but it is looking more and more like that day may finally come. After falling back behind 27-26 the Hoosiers responded with a touchdown drive capped off by a 24-yard touchdown run by Jordan Howard.

However, the Wolverines were able to respond with a touchdown drive of their own to tie the game up and force overtime.

Oklahoma State Completes Comeback Over Iowa State To Improve To 10-0 [VIDEO]

Iowa State has been playing well lately. They haven't been able to win too many games, but they have certainly been able to make some good teams sweat pretty hard. The Cyclones certainly made the Cowboys work for it Saturday. At one point Iowa State led the Cowboys 24-7, but the Cowboys were not going to lie down.

They battled back to take a 35-31 lead with three minutes to go, and held to on to stay undefeated and keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.

WATCH: Indiana's Mitchell Paige Shows Off Some Moves On 51-Yard Punt Return Touchdown

The Hoosiers are not supposed to be able to compete with Michigan on the football field. The phrase "supposed to" is key because no matter how the game ends IU defintely put a scare into the Wolverines. The threat became real when Mitchell Paige made a sweet 51-yard run to move the Hoosiers within 1.

They have since kicked a field goal to take a two-point lead. If you took Michigan and the spread it doesn't look goo.

WATCH: Notre Dame RB Josh Adams Uses Awesome Stiff-Arm To Break Free On 98-Yard Touchdown Run

Notre Dame has been hit with some crazy injuries to key players this season, but somehow they seem to keep coming back from them to play better than ever. The latest one is running back C.J. Procise who suffered a concussion last week. In his place against Wake Forest Saturday was freshman Josh Adams.

Adams has looked good in limites action this season, but not better than he did on this run when he used an awesome stiff-arm to break loose for a 98-yard touchdown run:

WATCH: Alabama RB Kenyan Drake Goes Down With Broken Arm On Kick Return

Even if you hate Alabama you have to feel a little for running back Kenyan Drake. Last season his year ended early with a broken leg. Now it appears that his senior season is going to come to an end due to another injury. This time it was a broken arm suffered during a kick-off when he tried to make a tackle.

You can see his arm snap back in the play below:

WATCH: Alabama WR Calvin Ridley Makes Mississippi State Defense Look Silly On 60-Yard Touchdown

Alabama is the favorite against Mississippi State, but the Bulldogs defense is no joke--or is it? After Alabama wide receiver caught a short pass from Jake Coker he took it 60 yards for a touchdown while putting defenders on skates and just flat out making them look bad.

Yes, he did have the help of one tremendous block early in the run, but for the most part this was all Ridley's work:

WATCH: Navy QB Keenan Reynolds Breaks All-Time Career Rushing Touchdown Record

Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds is not a household name. He is not a Heisman candidate, although there are many that think he should be.  There is a chance that he could garner some attention from NFL teams, but due to his service commitment in the Navy he will probably not even bother going to training camp (if invited). Enough about what he isn't. This is what he is--the all-time NCAA career rushing touchdown leader.

This four-yard run against SMU was No. 78 for Reynolds, breaking the tie with former Wisconsin running back Montee Ball:

North Carolina QB Marquise Williams Has No Respect For Miami's "U" [GIF

Opposing players often do not like each other. It is not unusual to see a player from one to do something that could be perceived as disrespectful to the other team. It may be distasteful and show a lack of class, but it is something that happens.

So Miami fans should not be too shocked to see North Carolina quarterback Marquise Williams do something with their "U" that it is not intended for. Williams may not want to visit Miami anytime soon after making this move.

WATCH: Cody Kessler Drops 36-Yard TD Pass In Perfect Spot For JuJu Smith-Schuster

Friday night the Trojans offense had a little trouble getting going in the first half against Colorado, but in the second half they were able to get moving finally. Kessler led the team on three touchdown drives to open the second half. The third came courtesy of wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster who hauled in a beauty of a 36-yard pass from Kessler to make the score 27-17.

Colorado would add a late touchdown, but USC would hold onto win 27-24.

Nelson Spruce Ties Colorado Career Touchdown Reception Record [VIDEO]

Going into Friday night's game against USC, the Colorado Buffaloes needed to win two of their last three in order to become bowl eligible. While they did have a 17-3 lead at one point, Cody Kessler got the Trojan offense together and scored 24 unanswered points to take a 27-17 lead.

Colorado would a late touchdown to make it look good, but lost in the end 27-24, but from the loss something good did come.

Why Would You Want To Make Ronda Rousey Angry Before Fighting Her? [VIDEO]

Ronda Rousey is a beast in the Octagon, and she has prove that time and time again. You would think that prior to fighting her an opponent would not want to give her any additional motivation to be out for blood, but apparently Holly Holm was not worried about it during the weigh for UFC 193 Friday.

After getting off the scale Ronda charged right over and got in Holly's face so you could say she was the instigator, but that is pretty standard stuff. Fighters always get in each other's faces after the weigh in.

WATCH: Wisconsin's Khalil Iverson With The Steal And Dunk For First Basket With The Badgers

Wisconsin fans have been looking forward to seeing freshman Khalil Iverson in action and Friday night they got to see him take the court against Western Illinois. He only hit one shot, but it was a pretty one that started with a steal and ended with a dunk!

Now if only the Badgers didn't get upset 69-67...

WATCH: Indiana Freshman Thomas Bryant With The Power Dunk Over Defender

Much like the football season, college basketball teams will often schedule soft opponents at the start of the season so that they can work out the kinks before they play the real competition. It also gives freshman a chance to make a pretty strong first impression--kind of like the one Indiana freshman Thomas Bryant made against Eastern Illinois Friday night.

He finished the game with 11 points and nine rebounds, but it will be this basket that people talk about till the next time the Hoosiers take the court. Yeah, he got a foul in the process, but it was worth it. IU went on to win 88-49.

Gonzaga-Pitt Game Called At The Half Because Court Was Not Safe [VIDEO]

Pitt and Gonzaga were in Okinawa to open their season Friday night in the Armed Forces Classic, but the game just wasn't meant to be. With conditions in the gym hot and humid the court conditions were not very safe. Several times players from both teams slipped and hit the court. One, Pitt's James Robinson, hit the court so hard it cur his cheek open.

Having no air-condition didn't help. They tried to place large fans around the court to make up for it, but it just wasn't enough. As a result, the refs decided to call the game at the half. Due to the busy schedules of both teams the game will not be made up.

WATCH: Duke's Grayson Allen With The Sweet One-Handed Jam In Win Over Sienna

Duke's Grayson Allen forced the college basketball loving world to take notice when he scored 16 points off the bench against Wisconsin. Friday night the journey towards the Madness began once again, and this time Grayson was in the starting line-up.

From the way he played it is safe to say that he is going to stay in the starting line-up going forward. He led the way with 26 points--including this one-handed dunk--for the Blue Devils in a 92-74 win over Sienna.

J.J. Watt Praises Whitney Mercilus After Being Asked About Jadeveon Clowney [VIDEO]

When the Houston Texans drafted Jadeveon Clowney they likely envisioned having the most dynamic pass rush duo in recent NFL history on the field. They already knew what a beast Watt is, and they were trusting that the beast-like potential Clowney showed in college would translate to the NFL. So far--it hasn't happened, but not because he is not playing well.

Clowney is flat out not playing. He missed most of his rookie season with injury issues and he has not played much during his sophomore season either.

Piitsburgh Steelers HC Mike Tomlin Might Want To Save Ben Roethlisberger from Himself

When Pittsburgh Steelers fans saw their quarterback go down with an injury yet again their hearts had to drop. An injury killed their hopes for postseason glory last season, and even though they lost running back Le'Veon Bell for the season and lost quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for a number of games earlier in the season they still had hope.

However, after losing Big Ben to yet another injury for a few weeks the outlook is a little grim. That is until Roethlisberger said not to count him out for this week's game against Cleveland.

WATCH: Buffalo Bills WR Sammy Watkins Left Stranded On Revis Island

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins is one of the best young receivers in the game. He has battled injuries throughout the year, but returned to action last week against Miami with a big game catching all eight passes that came his way for 168 yards and a touchdown. However, Thursday night the competition was going to be a lot stiffer.

He was going to be faced with Darrelle Revis. While he was aware of the difficulty of the challenge he was also looking forward to it. So--how did he do?

Ryan Fitzpatrick Does Not Regret Read On Crucial Fourth Down Play Late In Fourth Quarter [VIDEO]

For much of Thursday night's game it looked like Rex Ryan was going to come into his former house and walk away with a win over the team that fired him. That is, until the Jets made a tremendous comeback in the second half. Thanks to a blown punt late in the final quarter the Jets had a chance to win.

That is until Kellen Davis lost sight of a ball that looked like it was overthrown anyway on fourth and four at the seven yard line.

Dancing Dabo Swiney Doesn't Have Anything On Virginia Tech HC Frank Beamer's Moves [VIDEO]

The end of this season will find a legend in college football calling it a career--Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer. After a lengthy career that saw him guide the Hokies to 17 top 25 finishes and 22 bowl games he is going to be fishing next season (or something else) rather than roam the sidelines for another year.

So his team is doing its best to send him off in the best way possible--with one last bowl game. They moved a step closer Thursday night by overcoming a 14-deficit to beat Georgia Tech 23-21.

Tony Romo Playing A Little Scout Team During Practice Thursday

The Dallas Cowboys actually have a very slim chance of making the post season, but they will need to beat the Buccaneers this weekend and then win the majority of their remaining games once Tony Romo comes back next week to have a chance.

Romo has been throwing lately in practice as he prepares to come back, and it appears that he has been doing something he probably hasn't done since his freshman year inn college--play the scout team.

WATCH: Hockey Reporter Meant To Say 'Herniated Disc' But Said Something Naughty Instead

Have you ever opened your mouth and something came out that you didn't expect to come out? Maybe you were thinking about something while you were talking and that something came out. Well--this reporter said something while covering a hockey game that she had no intention of saying.

At least her bosses hope she had no intention of saying it:

Color Blind Fans Had A Little Trouble Watching Thursday Night's Jets-Bills Game

When the 'color rush' uniforms were designed the idea was probably to give teams somethin that was a little different, but also something that would pop on television and look great. For the most part (so far) they have done just that.

However. it appears that there was a pretty significant segment of the population that had a little trouble watching the game--color blind folks.

Buffalo Bills LB Nigel Bradham Gets Helmet Knocked Off But Gets In On Play Anyway [VIDEO]

If there is anything that makes a mom's heart drop and her blood pressure go up during a football game it is watching her son get his helmet knocked off, and then watch as he continues to get involved in the play. So if the parents of Buffalo Bills linebacker Nigel Bardham were watching Thursday night they had to be worried when their son had his helmet knocked off

He ended up having to leave the game with a cut on his nose, but he was able to return later.

WATCH: Eric Decker With The Pathetic Blocking Attempt That Actually Worked

When a smaller guy like Eric Decker is tasked with blocking a bigger guy like Bills defensive tackle Alex Carrington his options are limited. If he tries to go head up  with a big ole boy like Carrington he is going to get crushed and tossed aside like a rag doll. So he has to go low, but in doing so he has to go in with enough force to knock the big man down.

Decker kind of forgot the force part. Instead he basically laid down in front of Carrington (with a little guidance from Carrington):

WATCH: Jets WR Brandon Marshall Helps Bills Corey Graham Make An Interception

When you have a player like Brandon Marshall on the field you want to get the ball in his hands. Ryan Fitzpatrick has been around the block a few times and knows how important it is to get the ball in the hands of your play makers. So about midway through he second quarter he tried to get one to Marshall who should have had it.

Instead he offers it to the nearest defender--Corey Graham--for the easy interception.

Rex Ryan Makes Compares Getting Fired By Jets To Getting Dumped By A Girl [VIDEO]

After beating his old team Thursday night Buffalo Bills head coach decided to wax nostalgic a little and talk about what it was like getting let go by the Jets. In true Rex Ryan fashion he didn't just say that is sucked, he hated it, or that it made him feel bad.

No--he made up an analogy that every person in the room (and online) can relate to:

WATCH: Buffalo Bills Head Coach Rex Ryan With The Emphatic "*uck Yeah!" When INT Seals Win

Rex Ryan never made Thursday's game against the New York Jets about him beating his old team in the press. During the post game show LeSean McCoy said that he never did when talking to the team either, but they knew what we knew. That this game mattered just a little bit more than any other game.

His reaction as Baccari Rambo intercepted Ryan Fitzpatrick to seal the win shows that it meant something to him:

WATCH: Bills DB Bacarri Rambo Ends Jets Comeback Hopes With Interception--And Rex Ryan Was Happy!

The Buffalo Bills pretty much controlled the game in the first half Thursday night, but whatever adjustments Todd Bowles had the Jets make at the half worked as the second half was much more competitive. After the Bills screwed up a snap on a late punt it looked like the Jets were primed to complete the come back, but the Bills defense forced a turnover on downs.

However, the Jets got another chance in the waning seconds of the fourth quarter, but Bills defensive back put an end to that real quick with an interception.

WATCH: Ryan Fitzpatrick Breaks Sid Luckman Record With Touchdown Pass To Eric Decker

Ryan Fitzpatrick has been around a long time, and for much of his career he hasn't always been highly regarded. However, while he may not have been praised by the media and fans, he has been effective and able to lead his team--whoever it may be--into the end zone.

Now with his sixth team, the New York Jets, the cumulative work of the former Harvard had led to him breaking a record Thursday night when he made this touchdown pass to Eric Decker:

WATCH: New York Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick With The Wild-Eyed, Running For His Life Look

Ryan Fitzpatrick already looks a little crazy with his insane beard, but during the second half of Thursday night's game against the Buffalo Bills he took the 'crazy' look to a whole new level. Not known for his running prowess, Fitzpatrick ended up taking off for a nice run early in the fourth quarter (or late in the third) with some Bills defenders hot on his tail.

Kudos to the camera man for zooming in and capturing this look for us.

WATCH: Brandon Marshall With A Good Luck Tug On Ryan Fitzpatrick's Beard

Rex Ryan may not be a fan of Ryan Fitzpatrick's beard, but along with Fitzpatrick's wife it appears that his beard has a fan in one of his wide receivers, Brandon Marshall. Early in the second half Thursday night the cameras caught Marshall giving it a little tug on the sideline.

Yep, Brandon--it's real.

Buffalo Bills Rookie RB Karlos Williams Makes History With 26-Yard Touchdown Reception [VIDEO]

Most teams are lucky if they have one quality back, but the Buffalo Bills happen to have two--LeSean McCoy and rookie Karlos Williams. When McCoy is ready to call it a career it looks like the running game will be in good hands with Williams. Going into Thursday night's game he had 336 yards and five touchdowns on 51 carries.

He got another touchdown--his second in the passing game--off a 26-yard reception in the third quarter. With it he made a little history.

WATCH: Bills Safety Duke Williams Returns Devin Smith's Fumble For Touchdown

With defenses as capable as the ones the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets have there is one thing you can count on. Points are going to be hard to come by so if you can get a few on defense or via special teams your chances of winning go up significantly.

Jets wide receiver Devin Smith knows this which is why he is going to kick himself for a couple days for putting this ball on the turf during a second quarter kick return for Bills safety Duke Williams to return for a touchdown:

Jets Fans Didn't Go To The Rex Ryan School Of Fist Pumping [GIF]

When fans, players, and coaches get excited about a play it is not unusual to see them fist pump. Players in every sport have been known to do it as have their fans. It's pretty universal, and everyone has their own way to do it. However, it is also not unusual for fans to emulate something players and/or coaches do. It's another way of connecting with the team's larger than life personalities.

Rex Ryan is a larger than life personality, but it is safe to say that the Jets fans did not pick up on Ryan's style of fist pumping:

WATCH: Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant Goes On Locker Room Rant After Reporter Uses Racial Slur

There is never a dull moment with the Dallas Cowboys. If it isn't Jerry Jones saying something ridiculous it is Greg Hardy opening his mouth, someone getting hurt, or Dez Bryant going off about something.

This time it was Dez Bryant.

What The Heck Is Going On With TCU WR Josh Doctson? In Or Out?

Last week against Oklahoma City the TCU Horned Frogs were thrown for a loop when wide receiver Josh Doctson had to leave the game with a wrist injury. Losing his best weapon made life a little harder for Trevone Boykin, and the TCU offense was clearly not the same without him. So the big question going forward was whether he was out for good, just a week, or if he'd be out at all.

Thursday morning fans thought they got an answer.

WATCH: Redskins WR DeSean Jackson Gives Head Coach Jay Gruden A Titty Twister At Practice

It is good to have the kind of relationship between players and coaches that makes it possible for one to goof off of with the other, but there has to be limits--or boundaries--but apparently not between Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson and his head coach, Jay Gruden. For some reason Jackson thought it would be okay to reach over and give his coach a little titty twister.

It is a little surprising that Gruden didn't retaliate, but maybe because of Jackson's delicate nature he decided against it.

Georgetown Basketball Running Hilarious "In-Laws" Promotion For Upcoming Game

The college basketball season will soon be upon us meaning college sports fans are about to be real busy with the heart of the football season still to come along with their favorite basketball team. In the Big East Villanova has been the team to beat, but this season the Georgetown faithful have high hopes for their squad.

So seats at the Verizon Center will likely be filled on game day, but the school is trying to do more than just make the game affordable for fans. It wants to help them get brownie points with their significant other with a special "in-laws" promotion.

Texas A&M Suing Indianapolis Colts For Using 12th Man Trademark

The 12th Man has been tied to the Seattle Seahawks in the past, but only because the team paid the owner of the trademark for the right to use it, Texas A&M. Lots of football teams like to refer to their fans as being the "12th man," but Teas A&M has held the trademark to the term for sometime which was enough to stop most teams from trying to use it for their own benefit.

After the way Texas A&M sued Seattle for trademark infringement you would have thought everyone would have learned not to do it, but it appears that is not the case.

Teammates Making Fun Of Raiders LB Ray Ray Armstrong For Taunting Police Dog

Oakland Raiders linebacker Ray Ray Armstrong could actually be in some serious trouble for doing something kind of silly and just a little stupid.  He barked at a police dog. Apparently that is a big deal in Pittsburgh because it is classified as a felony and could get him seven years should the judge decide to make an example of him.

Yes, this is real.

Dallas Mavericks Twitter Account Trolls Clippers After Win Wednesday Night

At this point in the season it is pretty hard to look at a game and call it a must win, but that is exactly what the Dallas Mavericks were faced with. It had nothing to do with division standings or the post season. It was all about beating the guy that spurned the team to stay in Los Angeles.

They did just that. Jordan only had nine points and 11 rebounds on the night as the Mavericks won 118-108, but they were not done taking shots once the game was over.

Arizona Cardinals Bruce Arians Has Great Answer When Asked About Marshawn Lynch's Big Run Last Season

The Arizona Cardinals have been far and away the best team in their division up to the halfway point of the year, but if they slip going forward it would not be hard for the Rams or the Seahawks to crawl back in the division hunt. With each still having a game against the Cardinals there is no room for error even though they have a two game lead right not.

Sunday the Cardinals will have a chance to put  a real damper on the Seahawks chances if they can get a win in Seattle.

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees Needed Stiches After Taking Hit Against Titans [VIDEO]

Drew Brees has ben on a tear of late. After throwing seven touchdown passes one game he followed it up with another good game, a 387-yard, three touchdown game against the Tennessee Titans last week. While he may be playing well, he has been taking his lumps too.

Against the Titans he took a hit in the fourth quarter to the jaw from Davis Bass that bloodied him up enough that he needed stitches.

Back in July the Chattanooga, Tennessee, community fell victim to a tragedy when a shooting occurred at a military recruiting station killing five servicemen. Peyton Manning, who went to school at Tennessee and still has a home there, visited the base where the shooting occurred and helped set up a fund for the families of the fallen.

As it turns out, he has continued to pay tribute to the fallen during the season, but kept it to himself.

Jeff Van Gundy Draws Absurd Connection Between Mavericks Fans Booing DeAndre Jordan And Cheering For Greg Hardy [VIDEO]

DeAndre Jordan played in Dallas for the first time since he spurned the team at the last minute, and decided to resign with the Clippers. So when he was introduced prior to the game he was given the kind of treatment you would expect from the home crowd--they booed and they booed loud. As fans of the Mavericks that is their right.

For some crazy reason ESPN analyst Jeff Van Gundy thinks they are being ridiculous and his reasoning has nothing to do with basketball.

PHOTO: Denver's Joel Dreesen Shares Picture Of Enormous Leg Bruise From His Texans Days

Last season Houston Texans super star J.J.Watt shared a picture of an incredibly large bruise he got on his thigh from a block thrown by then-Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson. It was something else; the kind of thing that would make a normal man cry for his mommy.

Yes, it was that bad--but it doesn't have anything on the one Denver Broncos tight end Joel Dreesen recently decided to share with the world. Dreesen's makes Watt's look like a boo boo that just needs a kiss from Momma.

Did You See That Spin Move Clemson's Shaq Lawson Used Against Florida State? [VIDEO]

In the pass happy NFL teams are always looking for quarterbacks that can sling the ball, wide receivers that can catch anything, and defensive lineman that can rush the quarterback like a fat kid running after cake. When it comes time for the draft many teams will be eager to get Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson. Who wouldn't want to have this spin move working for them next season?

Of course he could return to school next year since he's just a junior, but he's not going to.

Jordan Matthews Joined The Scout Team To Help Break Out Of Slump

Expectations were high for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews coming into this season, but he has not performed up to par this season. Through the first seven games he had just 39 receptions with ten of them coming in the first game. However, it was his drops that was killing his stats and hurting the team.

Last week he appeared to break out of the slump with a 9-reception, 133 yard day that included the game-winning touchdown.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans Bordering On Arrogant Or Does He Just Have A High Standard?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans thinks he is one of the best players in the game today, but he is smart enough to recognize that he is not playing as well as he should. Sunday against the Giants he caught eight balls for 152 yards, but he was targeted 19 times and was credited with five drops on the day. In fact, he has the second highest drop rate in the league this season at 17.9 percent (10 drops).

So is he holding himself to a high standard or being arrogant when he says 150 yards is a bad day for him?

Arizona State Mascot May Cost University $123,000 For Jumping On Councilman's Back

Mascots are supposed to be goofy, fun-loving characters capable of providing entertainment when the team is not. They are supposed to do stupid things because people often find them funny. However, they are not supposed to do anything so stupid that it could backfire and cost the university money--but that is exactly what Sparky, the Arizona State mascot has done.

He may have cost the school $123,000.

Trevone Boykin Switching To Wide Reciever Rumor Is Ridiculous

Dual threat quarterbacks have had mixed results in the NFL. Colin Kaepernick was good at one time. Russell Wilson has made magic happen with his arm and feet too. However, Johnny Manziel and Robert Griffin III, and Terrelle Pryor have not fared so well. So does that mean TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin needs to switch to wide receiver to better his chances of making it in the NFL?

Absolutely not.

The Browns have been trying to make Manziel fit into a system that does not complete his skill set. Terrelle Pryor was never a strong passer in college so it is no surprise that he wasn't one in the NFL. As for Kaepernick and Griffin--who knows why they have failed (so far). Kaepernick was a running quarterback in college, and his transition to the NFL was not bad at all.r

Griffin? Who knows. His injuries have seriously hampered his development, but at this point it doesn't look like he will get another chance until he leaves Washington.

The point is you can't look at the guys with similar styles in the NFL and say he needs to switch. Given the right system and the right coaches, Boykin could be a very good quarterback at the NFL level.

Unless he were to change now and show what he can do as a wide receiver it will not help his draft status. Teams are not going to be eager to draft an athlete with the potential to play wide receiver without having seen him play the position.

Moving positions really didn't do former Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall any favors. He went undrafted, but was able to make the roster as a defensive back with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Someone may take a flyer on him late in the draft, but he is more likely to go undrafted. That means he will make as little as possible for a few years till he proves he can play.

He would be much better off staying at quarterback and getting drafted in the middle rounds of the draft, Ideally, he will sit behind someone until he learns the nuances of playing at the NFL.

It served Tyrod Taylor well and would likely do the same for him.

Ref Stops Central Michigan-Toledo Game To Tell Band And Cheerleaders To be Quiet [VIDEO]

Referees are supposed to make sure that no team is able to do anything that would give them an unfair advantage over the other during the game. Normally this refers to things like holding, pass interference, illegal procedure, and other penalties, but the ref during Tuesday night's Central Michigan-Toledo game took it to a whole new level.

He told the cheerleaders and band to be quiet:

PHOTO: Eagles Back-Up QB Mark Sanchez Had Ridiculously Good Looking Hair On The Sideline Sunday Night

At one time, Mark Sanchez was a starting quarterback in the NFL, but chances are he never will be again unless Sam Bradford gets hurt. While that is entirely possible with Bradford considering his history, he is otherwise relegated to the sideline come game day. From the looks of it, he knows this and has accepted it as fact.

Why else would he take such great care to make sure his hair was combed ad looking sharp on the sideline Sunday night?

Ryan Fitzpatrick Has Perfect Response To Rex Ryan Hating On His Beard

The Buffalo Bills are playing the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football so Rex Ryan is doing what he is known to do--talk stupid trash. Some might call it just him speaking his mind and not holding anything back, but it comes out as stupid trash talk. Yes, not just trash talk, but stupid trash talk.

Why stupid? Well--because he called Ryan Fitzpatrick ugly because of his infamous beard.

WATCH: Wes Welker Already Catching Passes At Practice With The St. Louis Rams

When the St. Louis Rams announced they were signing Wes Welker many people scratched their heads and wondered why. Isn't the team concerned about his concussion history? Aren't they afraid of the damage one more hit could do to him? They must have done a comprehensive physical before signing him, and liked what they saw.

He was one of the best in the game, and if he can take a hit he could prove quite useful down the stretch. He is already practicing with the team and didn't look bad in the clip the team shared on Twitter:

City Of St. Louis Admitting Fault By Covering Concrete Surrounding Field Prior To Bear's Game?

If you ask Reggie Bush, what the people in charge of the Edward James Dome--home of the St. Louis Rams--are planning on doing is great, but a little too late. It appears that they are planning on covering the concrete surrounding the field before the next game. So great for the Chicago Bears,  but it certainly doesn't do him and his jacked up knee any good.

Or does it...

Indianapolis Colts Beat Denver But Lost Andrew Luck In The Process [VIDEO]

Sunday was a great day for fans of the Indianapolis Colts--or so they thought. At the time they thought their team played a great game, kept Peyton Manning from breaking two Brett Favre records, and knocked Denver from the ranks of the undefeated. While they did beat the Broncos, the Broncos beat on Andrew Luck

We now know how bad the beating was.

PHOTO: Buffalo Bills HC Rex Ryan Wears Clemson Helmet During Press Conference Because He's Rex Ryan

Rex Ryan has never been one to hold back what he is thinking or feeling about anything whether its his current team, a former team, his wife's feet, or his son's football team. Since he didn't have much to say about his team or last Sunday's game he decided to show some love for his son's football team, the No. 1 Clemson Tigers.

One of his former players, Calvin Pryor, accused of being attention seeking, and if he is so what? He isn't doing for himself. He's doing it for his son's football team. Seth Ryan may only have one catch this season for the Tigers, but that doesn't matter either. Dads are allowed to support their kids however they want.

Alshon Jeffrey Has Big Night For Chicago Bears In Win Over San Diego Chargers [VIDEO]

The Chicago Bears would need a lot of things to go their way for them to have a shot at the post season this year. Will the stars alien for them? Probably not, but if you don't play like they might they never will. Alshon Jeffrey certainly did his part to make it happen for the Bears Monday night with a big night against the Chargers.

Of Jay Cutler's 40 pass attempts, 16 went in Jeffrey's direction. He did a solid job on the night catching 10 of them for 151 yards and a touchdown:

Chargers DB Jason Verett Records First Career Touchdown With Pick-6 Off Of Jay Cutler [VIDEO]

Former TCU defensive back Jason Verett is only in his second season in the NFL, but he has already become a leader for the Chargers on defense. Chargers defensive coordinator has asked him to take more of a leadership role with the unit this season. While he may not be the most vocal guy, Pagano says he makes up for it by letting his play do the talking for him.

It certainly did Monday night when he stepped in front of a pass meant for Alshon Jeffrey to pick it off and took it back 68-yards for his first career touchdown:

WATCH: Bears RB Jeremy Langford Lays Out To Make Awesome Catch

With Matt Forte out with an injury rookie running back Jeremy Langford was given the opportunity to shine Monday night on national television. With a 142 total yards (70 receiving, 72 rushing) and a touchdown it is safe to say he did just that during the Bears 22-19 win.

He certainly looked pretty good in the passing game when he laid out for this reception in the first half:

WATCH: Chicago Bears DL Lamarr Houston Whips Chargers OL Joe Barksdale Before Sacking Phillip Rivers

Chicago Bears defensive lineman Lamarr Houston came up with a big play when the team needed it most Monday night. After his team had taken a late lead against the San Diego Chargers it was up to the defense to shut down Phillip Rivers and preserve the win. Houston nearly did it on his own with a pair of sacks (back to back).

On the second he absolutely whipped Chargers lineman Joe Barksdale with an impressive combination of speed and power:

Looks Like 'Mike Ditka' Has Put On A Few Pounds [GIF]

The game may hae been played in San Diego, but the Bears Nation was present in full force Monday night including at least one Chicago icon, a larger than life version of legendary Bears coach Mike Ditka. Either he was just told he was getting free McDonald's for appearing in that new commercial or the Bears just did something right.

Free fries would make most people cheer like that...

Struggle Is Real For Phillip Rivers But Not So Much For Jay Cutler [GIF]

With his reputation being what it is you would expect it to be Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler with the struggle face at the end of Monday night's game--but that was far from the case. Instead fans saw a game where Cutler overcome his mistakes from the first half to play a solid second half.

After he threw the go-ahead touchdown pass to Zach Miller he was just a little bit pumped:

WATCH: Chicago Bears TE Zach Miller Makes Great One-Handed Catch For First Touchdown Since 2011

Zach Miller hasn't had the career that a lot of guys have had. He is in his sixth season as an NFL player, but he hadn't played since the 2011 season when he was still with the Jacksonville Jaguars (which also happens to be when he last scored a touchdown). So when you have a drought like he has had you have to break out of it in style.

That is exactly what he did Monday night when he made this catch for the go-ahead score against San Diego:

The Struggle Is Real For San Diego Charges Head Coach Mike McCoy [VIDEO]

We understand Coach. We are watching the game too, and we feel your pain. Don't worry--things will get better in Los Angeles.

WATCH: Chargers TE Antonio Gates Pimp Slaps Bears DB Steve Williams At End Of 40-Yard Gain

San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates will forever be known as one of the greatest tight ends in the history of the NFL, but he is not a spring chicken anymore. He has never been known as a speed demon, but if he were to run any slower on this 40-yard run last week would catch up with him.

When you are one of the greats you can do what you want as long as it works--and for Gates it clearly does. To finish the run he could have just gone down, but instead he decided to teach young Bears defensive back Steve Williams a lesson:

WATCH: Kyle Long Gets Beat Then Gets Mad At the Ref Because Jay Cutler Got Whacked

Kyle Long is a good offensive lineman; one of the better ones in the league, but he is not infallible. He made a mistake on the play below and got beat off the line by the Chargers linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu. As a result, Jay Cutler got whacked pretty hard after he threw the ball. Was it a late hit? Eh--maybe, but the ref didn't think so.
Long missed the block, but for some reason thought he could argue with the ref about whether the hit was late or not. You know--because refs often change their minds when players do that.

Jay Cutler Passes Sid Luckman As Chicago Bears All-Time Touchdown Passes Leader [VIDEO]

Sid Luckman is one of the all-time greats, but his name is actually going to be behind that of Jay Cutler in the record books for the Chicago Bears. Why? Well--because with a simple one-yard pass to Martellus Bennett he took over the lead in career touchdown passes with 138.

Congratulations Jay (but we still like Sid more).

San Diego Chargers RB Danny Woodhead With The Politest Spike Ever [VIDEO]

Typically when football players score they are hyped up, on an adrenaline rush, and in need of celebrating. Many of them are known to do so with a nice, powerful spike. Rob Gronkowski's has become famous, and normally they look a lot like his, but during Monday night's game against the Bears Danny Woodhead's was nothing like a Gronk spike.

He actually looked like he was trying not to hurt the football (because they have feelings you know).

WATCH: San Diego Chargers QB Phillip Rivers Doing His Happy Dance Down The Sideline

There is no quarterback in the NFL that is more entertaining to watch when he is not in the game than San Diego Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers. He is clearly into the game at all time--the highs and the lows--and you never have to guess how he's feeling. It is always perfectly clear.

For example, during the first half of Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears he was seen doing this:

Steelers Losing Ben Roethlisberger A Few Weeks With Foot Sprain [VIDEO]

The Pittsburgh Steelers just can't catch a break this season. First, there was the loss of Le'Veon Bell for a couple game due to a suspension. Then there was the first injury to Ben Roethlsiberger that brought on the mercifully short-lived Michael Vick tenure. Last week they finally got him back, but he was a bit rusty.

They had hoped that vintage Big Ben would reemerge against the Raiders. While Big Ben did have a solid statistical game he ended up getting knocked out of it in the fourth quarter.

WATCH: San Francisco 49ers QB Blaine Gabbert Gets Drilled By Falcons Defender

Sunday was the first of what Blaine Gabbert hopes will be many starts for the San Francisco 49ers. it wasn't a great game on his part, but it was efficient and much better than what the 49ers Faithful had grown accustomed to. The play that was the most impressive might have been the one that hurt the most.

On this play he had to see the Falcons defender coming, yet he stayed in the pocket and delivered the pass taking a brutal hit in the process:

Indianapolis Colts Punter Pat McAfee Lays The Smack Down On Another Denver Broncos Player [GIF]

A couple of seasons ago one of the most played highlights of the season was the one where Colts punter Pat McAfee destroyed then-Broncos return man with a devastating hit. Fast forward to the present and he is blowing up Denver Broncos players yet again, except this time he didn't hit the return man.

He laid out one of the blockers instead.

Jameis Winston Believes He Can Fly--Because He Can [VIDEO]

Tampa Bay knew they were getting a pretty good athlete when they drafted former Florida Sate quarterback Jameis Winston. Sunday against the New York Giants his athleticism was on display when he scrambled out of the pocket, took off for the end zone, and dove in from three yards out.

It wasn't just any old dive though. It was more like he soared into the end zone:

WATCH: New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. Punches Gatorade Cooler

The New York Giants might want to remind Odell Beckham Jr. that they need his hands to be in good shape. The  last thing they need him to do is something stupid that might sprain a finger or break a bone in his hand. You know--like punch a full Gatorade cooler on the sideline because he's made.

Yes, he has proven time and time again that he doesn't always need both hands or even all of his fingers to catch, but no need to make one-handed (or three-fingered) grabs a necessity. Besides--hitting the Gatorade cooler is such a baseball move.

Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater Knocked Out Cold By Dirty Hit; Says He's Fine And Went Out To Diner After Game

It was a pretty scary moment for the Minnesota Vikings early in the fourth quarter when quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was knocked out cold after getting hit by Lamarcus Joyner. The blow is going to cost Joyner some money since Bridgewater was in his slide and a protected player at the time. If the league office finds he was trying to be malicious it could cost him even more.

For his part, Bridgewater said he was fine after the game and even wanted to get back in, but since he had been diagnosed with a concussion that was not going to happen.

Denver Broncos DB Aqib Talib Gives Excuse For Eye Poke At End Of Game Against Colts [VIDEO]

The Denver Broncos found themselves in a dogfight against he Indianapolis Colts Sunday. They came in expecting an easy win, but instead they got a tough one that saw them down late in the game with the Colts driving and hoping to ice the game.

Rather than play their best when the team needed them most the defense made a couple of stupid mistakes that cost them the game.

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley Has Career Night In Loss To Eagles [VIDEO]

So far this season Dallas Cowboys fans know Cole Beasley as the guy that muffed a punt and cost the team a chance to go for the win against the Giants, but Sunday night he did his best to keep every drive alive and the Cowboys in the game. While his efforts did not result in a win for the team, they did result in a career night for the fourth year receiver.

He became Matt Cassell's favorite target catching nine passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns for his first career 100+ yard game and his second multi-touchdown game:
