Former Oklahoma QB Blake Bell Proving He Has What it Takes to Play Tight End

For the vast majority of Blake Bell's college football career guys were either banned from hitting him in practice or he had a bunch of big ole boys on the offensive line keeping folks from hitting him during games. It had to have been kind of nice--but not anymore.

With Trevor Knight firmly entrenched as the starter Bell opted to find another way to contribute and made the switch to tight end. Now he gets hit--and hits--all the time. Is he any good at it?

Umm...I'd say the answer is yes.

Bell is not a small kid by any means (6'6" and 259 pounds according to ESPN) so he has the frame to do it--and apparently he can too!

  1. This a good move for Bell as this gives him a better shot at the NFL.
