If someone was smart they would send film crews to film a lot of the stuff that goes on in and around some of these football teams off the field as well as on. Sometimes that stuff is more entertaining than the crap that happens on the field (I'm talking to you Chiefs/Ravens game). Maybe HBO could do a show and call it Hard Knocks or something...
Anyway...While we do tune into watch the games every weekend, it is the drama (both good and bad) that surrounds every team that pulls us in and compels us to follow whomever it is with the passion and intensity that makes some people do some pretty crazy stuff...
