There was a lot of worry about the perception the fan base would have on the Indianapolis Colts prior to the start of the season. After last year's embarrassing performance didn't leave people with a whole lot of hope that the Colts would be any good this year.
No where was this more evident than in the sale--or lack thereof--of season ticket sales. The team went from having an incredibly long waiting list to have thousands of seats left over. That meant the team had to face the possibility of something unheard of in Indianapolis when Peyton Manning was in town:
