After last season the Baylor Bears were on the radar of college football fans across the nation. With Robert Griffin III at the helm the Bears were one of the most exciting teams in football finishing in the top 25 for only the ninth time in school history and first since 1986.
With RG3 gone to the NFL the question became whether the Bears would be a one-hit (like Auburn) or if they were going to establish themselves as a program to watch. That question was tentatively answered Saturday when the Bears faced off with the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Baylor with a 5-5 record needed to win in order to become bowl eligible. In an exciting shootout they managed to do just that beating the Red Raiders 52-45 in overtime...
