What Does Johnny Manziel Remind You Of?

Like most Texas A&M fans and graduates I have loved watching the team work its way through the SEC to become one of the premier teams in the premier conference in college football. It's been especially fun to watch the team's redshirt freshman quarterback-- Johnny "Football" Manziel.

When I watch this guy play I can't help but be a little bit amazed at what he is capable of. As a freshman he has lit up the majority of the opponents he and the Aggies have come up against. He's been the leading rusher in the SEC for most of the season, and at the top or close to it of every significant offensive category.

Many of you have probably already thought about it and discussed it among yourselves, but I can't help but thing about what could have been for this season. Had the Aggies and Manziel had a warm up game before playing Florida things could have turned out differently. Instead our starting quarterback had to get his first real action against the tough Florida defense in his first game.

Even then the team still almost won! (but didn't 17-20)

Had the Aggies beat either Florida or LSU the chances that we'd be talking about the BCS Title game rather than just a BCS game (which is fine) would be pretty darn good!

The BCS title game may be out of reach, but the Heisman is not. Johnny Football can make his resume look even better Saturday when he overtakes Cam Newton's record for total offense set when he won the Heisman in 2010.

If it was good enough for Cam...

So I was still wondering what Johnny Football reminds me of sometimes, and then I stumbled across this video. I think you'll agree it is pretty fitting:
