A Heisman Trophy Would be a Fitting Cap to a Strong First Season in the SEC for Texas A&M

If my hubby couldn't win...
A Heisman Trophy Would be a Fitting Cap to a Strong First Season in the SEC for Texas A&M: A Heisman trophy for the freshman quarterback of the Aggies would be a fitting cap to a successful first season in the SEC.

When rumors of the move were being batted around the internet the general consensus from any who were not loyal members of the Texas A&M family was typically something akin to laughter. The Aggies were not taken seriously as potential members of the strongest conference in college football.

Not only did they prove the naysayers wrong, but they dominated much of the competition along the way. When the final whistle blew in a 59-29 win over Missouri on November 24 the Aggies had officially wrapped up their first season in the SEC with a 10-2 record (6-2 in conference).
