Cy Young Winner R.A. Dickey On The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

A man named Dickey came out of nowhere last season and became the best pitcher in the National League. A career journey man otherwise, he'd always been good enough to stay in the league, but had gone largely unnoticed over all.

All of a sudden folks can't hit his knuckle ball and the man is the most talked about pitcher in the game. Now he's doing guest spots on talk shows, getting thanks from Bill Cosby for making the knuckle ball cool, and is in the sights of teams everywhere.

It may seem kind of silly for the Mets to trade him right now, but it actually makes good business sense. The man is hot, 34-years old, and very marketable right now. They will never get more for him than they will now--and they are asking plenty!
