Baltimore Jeweler Gambling Big on a Shutout in Super Bowl

I can appreciate someone that wants to show having confidence in his team, but this guy is taking it a little far if you ask me.

Apparently this jeweler in Baltimore (Saxon's Diamond's Center) is willing to refund any purchases made up  to $5000 made on Saturday up till game time if the Ravens can shut out the 49ers.

I have no clue how much business a jewelry store does on any given weekend, but I imagine anyone that is thinking of getting engaged will be heading to this play on the chance that the impossible happens.



It may seem strange to hear it called it impossible; shutouts happen all the time during the season, but there has never been a shut out in 46 prior Super Bowls.

The chances of that happening are slim to none. Colin Kaepernick has the 49ers offense working and working well. They seem to start slow each week, but eventually the Nevada quarterback gets the team moving. Baltimore will have to have an epic game in order for them to shut out the hottest quarterback this side of Joe Flacco.

But in case they do...if you were already planning on proposing or something...
