Bring on the Super Bowl Commercials!

Sunday night fans were able to watch the final four teams still in the hunt for the Lombardi Trophy battle it out until only two were left standing in the end--the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens.

For the next two weeks the media will be flooded with nothing but brother versus brother, family versus family, who will Mom and Dad cheer for story lines that they can think of. Oh yeah--they might talk a little football here and there too.

However, when it comes to the Big Game it is not the only "game" in town. Yes, people are all about the game, but that is not all they come to watch. They want to see who is going to come up with the best commercials.

They are nothing compared to what they used to be (i.e. the Budweiser frogs), but there are some that are absolutely ingenious; like what Doritos has come up with.

Rather than spend tons of money on conceptualizing and then shooting a commercial they have gotten the viewer at large to channel their inner-Spielberg and send in their own commercials. For the seventh year running they have taken submissions and have now come up with the top five.
