One of the big questions that Katie Couric asked Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o that aired Thursday had to do with his sexuality. She made it seem like there had been questions surrounding his orientation in the past.
Now I live in Indiana, watched a lot of Notre Dame games this season, read tons of articles (I cover sports for my site after all), and never heard anything that made me believe he might be gay. Then again i wasn't looking, and in light of this whole scandal I can see where the rumor could grow some legs.
So Katie asked him and for once during the interview he showed some emotion as if he wanted to make sure that she, anyone watching, and anyone who might be sharing a locker room with him in the near future that he was far from it.
He might be the most gullible and naive person on the planet, but he is not gay. Manti--I don't think you have to worry about the ladies thinking you bat for the other team. They are a little too busy laughing.
