Oh Johnny.
I get it. You are going to be you; just like you were you before you won the Heisman and became this big time celebrity. However, what you have to remember Johnny is that you are a celebrity because of your success as the quarterback of the Texas A&M Aggies.
Not that 'other' team in Texas. Not the--gasp--Texas Longhorns!
Johnny Manziel was at a concert in Austin recently. For some reason whenever he's at a concert nowadays he ends up on stage. While up there he decided to play to the crowd somewhat and flashed the "hook 'em horns" sign of the dreaded and hated Longhorns.
When asked later he said that growing up it was his dream to play for the Texas Longhorns, and that he has always been a fan.
Oh boy.
Now as a life long fan he should know how deep the rivalry between the team that he plays for and the t-sips runs; especially since the annual game is no longer (both sides blame the other of course). The feelings aren't real hospitable. One of the last things that his fans want to see is him promoting the longhorns.
I get it what he is doing. He is a kid. He is having fun--as he should and is his right. However, as a representative of the university and the team he should be a little more sensitive to certain things--like showing tu some love.
That's not something Aggies do Johnny.
We'll forgive you though--this time.

(Yes, I am a Texas A&M grad. No I don't really care what Johnny Manziel does, but I know many of my classmates would. All the attention the poor kid is getting for everything he does is kind of funny if you ask me.)
