Someone Please Get Rob Gronkowski a Reality Show (and the Patriots an Insurance Policy)
Rob Gronkowski is an incredible football player. When he is on the field defenders have to know where he is at all times. He is a beast capable of scoring anytime he gets his hands on the ball. Even though he only played in 11 regular season games he still came in at No. 7 among all tight ends in total yards for the season and No. 1 in touchdowns.
However, if the stud tight end can't remain healthy then the New England Patriots might not get much for the $54 million investment they have in the guy. You would think that after the ankle injury during the 2011 post season and breaking his forearm twice this season he might be a little careful.
But then if he was he wouldn't be the Gronk, would he?
Instead the big, goofy oaf is getting jiggy with it at the club, dancing up a storm, and throwing wrestling moves out of the blue on his friends.
The quality of the video is terrible, but the guy in the middle (shirtless; shocker) bounces around on the stage for a bit before grabbing his friend and channelling his best Jake "the Snake" Roberts and putting the DDT on him.
You can see that he knows just what he's doing; when he gets up he shakes his injured arm as if to show that it is okay. That can't do much for the blood pressure of the New England faithful though!
Then there is the matter of him putting the DDT on his buddy. What kind of friend does that to another friend in the nightclub? And on stage with everyone watching? Talk about emasculating! The only way that guy does any more "wrestling" later is if the Gronk runs out of room in his bed and has to kick a hottie out.
You have to hand it to the guy. He know how to party and is definitely making the absolute most of his fame. Run a search for his name on YouTube and I swear there are as many clips of him dancing as there are of his football exploits.
Tack on the fact that he once dated a porn star and I have to wonder why some network is not following this guy around with camera's? No one lives the party life quite like the Gronk.
He may not ever get invited onto Dancing With the Stars (let's be real, the man dances like Urkel on speed), but if this guy were to do a dating show on VH1 (has to be cable; too crazy for network TV) or just a Day in the Life of the Gronk for Bravo--ratings gold people.
Ratings gold people.
