Don't Mess With Vince Wilfork

This should be classified as one of those things that is so obvious that it does not need to be said, but sadly that is not the case--don't mess with Vince Wilfork. There is someone dumb enough to antagonize a 6-foot 2-inch, 325 pound man that plays a violent game for a living--a former teammate, linebacker Ted Johnson.

What did Johnson do? He called Vince's wife the ugliest spouse on the Patriots.

Johnson was a pro linebacker so he is no cream puff either, but that doesn't matter. What on Earth was this man thinking about? The only good that could come out of saying something like that is free publicity courtesy of a little controversy. Otherwise you are asking for trouble.

And big ole Vince was more than happy to give it to him.

Vince is entirely right in saying and doing whatever he pleases in this case. I don't think there is a happily married man alive that would stand idly by while someone called his wife ugly in a public forum.

Johnson must have realized how stupid he was, because he did eventually apologize, but the real class in the whole mess was how Vince's wife Bianca handled the whole mess.
