Oh--wait. That isn't exactly news so I guess there is no real need to stop anything.
At this point it is no real surprise to hear that the Heat won (the day they lose though...), and especially when they are playing a poor team like the Toronto Raptors.
To be fair, the Raptors did come out hard in the third period and managed to crawl back in the game by closing the 12-point halftime deficit to just three going into the fourth. However, at that point the Heat reestablished their dominance with a 16-4 run.
Toronto never got close again.
With a win over the Boston Celtics Monday night they can own the record for second longest in-season winning streak outright. For now they will, have to be satisfied with being tied with the '07-08 Houston Rockets.
The two rivals have played twice this season with each winning at home. If they win in Boston the next serious threat to the winning streak will not come till next Wednesday when the team travels to Chicago.
