The above picture is the view from the dorm room of FGCU's junior forward Chase Fieler. Part of me has to wonder how they get any studying done there when they are in such close proximity to a literal paradise. I'd be willing to bet there are not too many students that complain about stress!
Fieler and the rest of the rest of the Eagles are the No. 15 seed in the South Regional after wining the Atlantic Sun Conference. The odds are against them as the No. 15 seed and they will have their hands full against the Georgetown.
The Eagles are given a slim 10 percent chance of making it past the first round just like any other No. 15 seed would be. However, if there is any team that could pull of the upset it would be these guys. They already beat one No. 2 seed by double digits earlier this season (Miami back in November, 63-51).
With a view like that and such easy access (they are free to students) to a plethora of water activities (i.e. wakeboarding, canoeing, paddle boarding, tubing) on the beach if they do get knocked out by Georgetown I doubt they will be down for long!
