Floyd Mayweather Remains Undefeated!

Floyd 'Money' Mayweather proved once again that he is the best pound for pound boxer in the world with a unanimous decision over Robert Guerrero. All three judges scored the fight the same, 117-111, for the champ.

Independent bloggers like myself don't make enough to cover the pay-per-view fee, but I found myself entranced following a live chat of the fight (kudos to Ryan Phillips with Rumors and Rants).

From what he and the other folks were saying it sounded like Guerrero came out strong and fought well in the early rounds, but was simply outclassed over the latter half of the fight. Apparently Floyd even busted up his right hand during the fight, but was able to power through it and hand Guerrero his second defeat anyway.

For his troubles Floyd will be making at least $32 million; that much is guaranteed. It will likely be a much higher number since he gets 90 percent of the take from the fight.

His next fight is supposed to be in September. Hopefully the hand is nothing that could delay it and his opponent is a little bit better thought with Floyd in complete control of what he does it is unlikely he will ever go up against someone that will ever have a serious shot of winning.
