Golden State Warriors End Losing Streak in San Antonio; Beat Spurs 100-91

The last time the Golden State Warriors beat the San Antonio Spurs was way back in 1997; a streak that spanned 30 games. Wednesday night that streak came to an end. Klay Thompson scored 34--29 of them in the first half--and Stephen Curry chipped in another 22 to lead the Warriors to a 100-91 victory over the Spurs.

Once again it looked like the Spurs were going to make a comeback. After being down by 20 with more than eight minutes to go in the third they closed it to eight, 97-89, with just over four minutes left to play.

A combination of cold shooting and solid defense by the Warriors put an end to the comeback and cemented the win for Golden State.
