New York Knicks Make an Easy One Look Tough But Hold On to Win and Eliminate Boston Celtics

I dig the grit and veteran talent that the Boston Celtics have, but the boys looked a little tired in Game 6 Friday night. While the final score--88-80, New York--makes it appear as if the game was close it never really was.

This play is a perfect example. To be honest, there is no reason why Iman Shupert should have been able to slice in for the rebound and dunk.

To have just 49 points on the board with just under ten minutes to go in the final period has to be embarrassing for the Celtics. To be fair to Boston, they did go on a 20-0 run after this play, but does anyone think the Knicks were even trying all that hard with a 26-point lead at this point?

Next up for the Knicks will be some much stiffer competition--the Indiana Pacers.
