Tim Tebow to Become a College Football Analyst?

Irony they name is Tim Tebow. The much-maligned free agent quarterback could soon find himself in a position to exact a little revenge (if that was in his nature which we all know it isn't) on his many haters.

If he isn't on an NFL roster pretty soon he might end up in the studio instead as an analyst.

From sad Tim.....to happy, gainfully employed Tim

Tebow of course wants to be playing football, but we all know that is going to be tough for him to do this season.  If it looks like he isn't going to there are rumors floating around that ESPN and FOX may make a play to bring in the incredibly popular Tebow as an in-studio analyst.

The job typically goes to photogenic guys like Tim in hopes that they will have the right personality in front of a camera to be an engaging television personality. Many end up failing in that regard, but with his background in public speaking it is a foregone conclusion how well he would do on camera (he would rock it in case you were not sure...).

The studios all know this and it sounds like they are circling the wagons to go after him once its clear he will not be in the NFL. Commenting on NFL games would be a long shot with many studio crews already pretty well established; some guest shots would not be out of the question.

But as a college football analyst...

Wherever he goes the legion of Tebow-maniacs will follow. With the coming launch of their new sports network, Fox Sports 1, it would be a huge lift and detriment to ESPN if he were to join Erin Andrews, Eddie George, and Joey Harrington.

This could be a big lift for Tebow. Yeah, it may mark the end of his playing days, and put him in special company as only one of two players to go from winning a playoff game to never playing again (Bob Lee of the '77 Vikings being the other).

It would also keep him involved in the game and make it even easier to reach out and help people through his many charitable endeavors.

In short--it's a win-win for him and whoever locks him down...should the rumor become reality, that is.
