Arrest Warrant Issued for Aaron Hernandez But Not For Murder

The rumor was floated around often on Thursday, but as of Friday morning it appears to actually be true. An arrest warrant has been issued for New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

It really comes as no surprise that a warrant has been issued. Throughout the day on Thursday report after report crossed the media wire that made Hernandez look more and more guilty in the murder of his friend, Odin Lloyd. However, since the evidence against Hernandez was all circumstantial he remained free at the time.

Then the destroyed cell phone and security system was discovered. Why on Earth would you destroy your expensive security system, your cellphone, and also have your house professionally cleaned from head to toe unless you had something to hide?

Of course they can't say what he has hidden will implicate him or someone else, but it does qualify as obstruction of justice.

This doesn't look good for Hernandez or the Patriots. With Rob Gronkowski likely to start the season on the PUP list New England may be without a proven producer on offense.

But that means little when you consider that a man's life has been lost. We can only hope that the authorities are able to get to the truth and that Hernandez's celebrity does not affect the outcome of the investigation.

I hate to point this out but here we have a possible murder suspect driving a white SUV--and not a single tasteless OJ joke yet?
