The Razzies or maybe the ESPYs need to come up with a new award; something to give to the player that pulls off the best flop/acting job in a game. It got bad enough that the NBA began issuing fines this season, but for guys that make a few million on average getting hit with a $5000 fine is nothing when it comes to helping their team win.
Chris Bosh and Shane Battier certainly have no problem doing it if it means it will help the Heat beat the Spurs in Game 4 of the Finals.
It will not bee surprising to see both of those guys get fined, but with the money they make if the Heat win they will not care.
Flopping has been one of the main topics of discussion this post season when it should be an afterthought. Maybe its thanks to bloggers (guilty) and the media for taking up the argument and running with it or maybe its because the acting is getting so bad on the court that fans are getting tired of it.
God forbid they just play basketball, right?
