Dallas Mavericks May Have Just Become the Front Runner in the Dwight Howard Sweepstakes

When free agency officially begins Monday for the NBA the basketball loving world is going to be watching with curious eyes to see who gets the services of free agent superstar Dwight Howard. He is not expected to go back to LA. The Houston Rockets have been called the front runner, but the Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks, and Golden State Warriors are also in the mix.

While the Rockets are looking good to acquire his services a recent development in Big D may have turned the tide.

Free chicken fingers for life. Need I say more?

Raising Cane, restaurant chain with 20 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, has announced that it is willing to sweeten the pot for the big man by giving him chicken fingers for life. In a press release in the Dallas Morning News:
“We have a lot of passionate fans among our Crew members in our DFW restaurants, so we thought we'd make Dwight an offer he couldn't refuse to up the ante for a Dallas-bound decision. We are also calling on every Dallas fan to join us in making the case online, in order to bring the big man to Big D.”
The company is promoting the hashtag #CANES4DWIGHT to help spread the word via social media as well as six billboards.

Fat guys everywhere are now saying," Go to Dallas! Go to Dallas!" But will it be enough?

If he were to eat chicken fingers for lunch and dinner everyday that could save him a few thousand dollars a year, but the problem is that he just might become one of those fat guys. Rumor has it chicken wings are kinda sorta not good for you even though they are oh so yummy (especially when you dip them in barbecue sauce or ranch! Mmmm!).
