Dwight Howard is All But Done in Los Angeles; Not Real Fond of the Fans

The Dwight Howard Experience was nothing that like what Los Angeles Lakers fans had hoped it would be, and it is starting to look more and more like they will never know what could be. With his recent comments the big man has made it painfully clear that he doesn't like LA and has no desire to stay.

Much like last off-season the biggest story in the NBA has been what Dwight Howard is going to do next. He never really seemed to fit in with the Lakers, and even admitted to not being in shape when the season started. Stories floated around when the regular season ended that his girlfriend doesn't like LA, and wants to move.

There has been one indicator after another that points to him leaving, but none of really been conclusive. Some of his latest comments might be awful close though.

The immaturity that he showed throughout the season is nothing new. It's not shocking to hear him complain about not being used right in Mike D'Antoni's system. Those are things that can be worked with, but it will be kind of hard to deal with his dislike of the fan base.

According to a source that claims to be close to the whole sordid affair Howard has called the Lakers fans “the most unappreciative group of people ever,” and “ungrateful.”

Now it is not exactly a smoking gun, but it could be the icing on the cake. It would not be easy, but the team could ditch D'Antoni and install a system that fits Howard's talents. If that was the case he would play better and likely start feeling the love from the fans too.

But as is he hates the coach, the system, and the fans.

Is it any wonder that rumor has him all but out of Los Angeles and in Houston or Dallas already?
