J.J. Watt's New Nike "MegaWatt" Shoes Sell Out in Two Minutes Online!

That J.J. Watt guy is pretty popular. He is a force to be reckoned with on the football field and a pillar of the community. At 24 he has already been a Defensive Player of the Year and looks  to collect even more accolades in the year's to come.

So no wonder why his new Nike Free Trainer 5.0 "MegaWatt" shoes sold out in two minutes Saturday morning when they went on sale!

A few weeks ago Watt spread the news via Twitter that they were coming and Friday he spread the word that his signature shoe would be available bright and early Saturday morning online (at Nike.com).

Apparently the fans liked what they saw in the shoes and snatched them right up.

Of course there is no telling how many that Nike had ready to go. Watt is a superstar who is on the rise, but there are a lot of signature shoes from a lot of athletes out there making it hard to judge how big the market is for another signature shoe.

As fast as these guys went it's likely only a matter of time before Nike gets another batch ready for sale.
