Turnovers and Miami's Big Three Beat the Spurs in Game 4

Whenever you play the Miami Heat there are certain things you can't do. Chief among them is turn the ball over; the Heat are too good a team and will take advantage of them. You also need to figure out a way to neutralize at least one of the Big Three. If you don't--well, there is a reason why those guys wanted to play together.

In Game 4 of the NBA Finals Thursday night the San Antonio Spurs turned the ball over 19 times and the Big Three each played 'big.' Do I need to tell you how the game ended?

Between the turnovers and Miami's Big Three the Spurs were not able to keep up Thursday night. After playing to a 49-49 tie at the half the turnover issue continued in the second half, and the Heat took advantage of it. Miami took a five point lead into the final period and ended up winning 109-93.

Dwyane Wade proved he still has it with a stellar night (32 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals, and 4 assists); LeBron James led all scorers with 33 points to go with 11 rebounds; Chris Bosh had a double-double with 20 points and 13 boards.

Tough to win when that happens.

San Antonio didn't necessarily play a bad game (with the exception of so many turnovers of course), but how they played may raise a few questions. After making it rain in Game 3 with 32 shots from behind the arc they only attempted 16.

Miami has to be happy about this since it guarantees that the Series will have to be won in South Beach. With the chances of them losing at home twice slim to none the 'must win' scenario is now squarely on the Spurs.

Game 5 will be Sunday at 8 PM ET.
