“We’re back in a position where we can compete,” Brown told USA TODAY Sports. “We’ve got a good quarterback, a better team. Our strength program is in better shape. We’re back in the game, and we should be even better next year. Everything is playing toward us getting back on the national scene. There’s a little edge around here right now, and I’m kind of enjoying the challenge and fight of getting it back.”

Robinson is actually an experienced coach, and even spent some time with Mack Brown and the Longhorns back in 2004 as the co-defensive coordinator....
