The last thing you ever want to see at a football game is for someone to be taken off the field in a stretcher. Folks that don't leave under their own power typically have something fairly serious going on. Saturday against Western Illinois the Minnesota Golden Gophers saw one of their taken off the field in a stretcher, but it wasn't one of the players.
It was head coach Jerry Kill

It is believed that Kill had a seizure on the sideline during halftime. The team's medical personnel are well aware of his condition (he has epilepsy) and sprang to action to help. When they were able to he was moved from the ground to a stretcher and taken back to the locker room for treatment.
Should it be a seizure as thought it will be the third one for Kill while coaching. During his first season with Minnesota in 2011 he had one during the fourth quarter of an early season game against New Mexico State. Last season following a loss to Northwestern he had a second one.
Kill has been trying to control his seizures as best as he can using a combination of medication, rest, diet, and exercise.
Best of luck to you coach and I hope you are back on the sideline soon.
