New Season, Same Old Michael Vick?

The Chip Kelly Era appeared to be off to a good start on the first drive of the Monday night game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins, but a scene that was all too familiar for Eagles fans happened.

I haven't checked Twitter yet, but I am sure that there are some calling for Michael Vick's head already; some folks are just impatient like that.

I am not a Vick fan at all and would normally jump right on the anti-Vick bandwagon, but I don't think this one was entirely his fault. Yes, maybe he could have/should have seen that there was someone in his passing lane.

This time I don't think it was Vick's fault; Kerrigan (the defensive lineman that knocked the 'pass' down) made a good play. That's why he gets paid too.
