Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd has an opinion. Can you guess who he'll back?
This is what he told reporters Tuesday during his weekly time with the media:
“Honestly? I got A&M,” Boyd told reporters. “A lot of people say Saban won’t be beat twice; it’s at A&M. it’s going to be a competitive game. It’s going to be a fun game. I’m excited to watch it. It’s going to be an intriguing game.”
This one will be interesting. The Aggies defense is a work in progress, but so is the Alabama offensive line. Johnny Manziel appears to be ready for the challenge, but it is hard to say about the Tide since they have only played one game so far.
Boyd didn't really qualify his answer, but I am sure that a small part of him wants the Aggies to win so his team can climb a little further up the rankings. Should the Aggies take down Alabama it will be interesting to see what the voters do.
Oregon, Ohio State, and Stanford are all in front of Clemson, but they have yet to play any real competition. Clemson on the other hand defeated a very good Georgia team. How high would the Aggies jump?
I guess we'll find out this weekend.
