The Boston Red Sox are World Series Champions after beating the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 6 in Boston by the score of 6-1. By looking at the score you would think that the game was pretty one-sided, and you would be right. Shane Victorino's three-run double put the team up early and they never looked back.
In fact, it really seemed as if they could do no wrong. Case in point--Jacoby Ellsbury escaping what should have been an easy rundown.
