John Kerry Gets a High-Five From Jacoby Ellsbury

If you live in or around Boston and you are wondering where everyone is--well, you must not be a baseball fan. With the Red Sox looking to win the World Series tonight (and looking like it could very well happen with a 6-run lead in the bottom of the 6th) the place to be is Fenway Park.

Because winning the World Series is a pretty big deal. Should they clinch the series tonight it will be the first time they've done so since 1918 ('04 was clinched in Denver; '07 clinched in St. Louis). The game is so big it demanded the attention of the Secretary of State John  Kerry.

The former presidential candidate was pretty excited to see the game (nice seats). During a speech at the State Department earlier in the day he had this to say (ABCNews):
“So job shares program, alternative work schedules, getting the ability to be able to spend more time with family, these are really important things. And to prove to you how important they are, I am leaving this afternoon at 5:30 to go watch the Red Sox beat the Cardinals this evening,” he said to great laughter and applause. “That’s how important it is.”
So he's there just to make a point to the rest of the State Department. Right.
