Koji Uehara Celebrates the First Error-Free Game of the World Series (oh--and winning Game 5 too)

I was starting to have doubts. To be honest I didn't think it was going to happen, but in this case I am glad that I was--no errors were committed in Game 5 of the World Series Monday night!

Go ahead Koji; you jump for joy!

He was likely excited because his team had just retired the side and his team had won Game 5 by a score of 3-1. For the second night in a row the reliever made the play to end the game; Sunday night was the pick off.

Judging soley from his performance I would say that he has a shot of winning the MVP if the Red Sox are able to win the series in Game 6 Wednesday night--but there's that Big Papi guy.

Ortiz has been a machine during the series hitting almost every time he comes to the plate. Monday night he was 3-4 with an RBI double in the first to improve his batting average during the series to .733. With Big Papi supplying that kind of offense it will be pretty hard to deny him the honor.
