Oregon Ducks Show Why They Deserve to Be in the National Title Hunt

The Oregon Ducks are one of the most exciting teams in college football, but they are also among the most maligned. Okay, maybe not most maligned, but they do get criticized pretty often for playing a soft schedule and making the stat sheet look good by running up the score.

Well--Saturday night the had a real test in the form of the UCLA Bruins, a top ten team with a Heisman candidate at quarterback themselves. After a half it looked like the Ducks had finally met their match, but that was just one half.

When you play the Ducks you have to keep pouring it on for all four or they will figure out how to exploit whatever crack you give them and turn a close game into a blowout before you know it.

Right UCLA? So to those who doubt the Ducks, doubt no more. These guys belong in the title hunt, and if you want proof check out some GIFS from the night's action:

They are known for their high-flying, fast paced offense, but they can bang it out with the best of them too.

They just make it look too easy.

I believe this one put the Ducks up for good.

And to think--some people were concerned the Ducks might lose a step without Chip Kelly.

It wasn't all perfect though. These guys are human after all.

Gotta love it when the defense gets into the action.

Special teams might need a little work.

Or maybe not.
