South Carolina Co-ed Channels Miley Cyrus in Hopes of Being Carolina's No.1 Fan at Cock Fest

This is a great time to be a college football fan--or even better a college student. Whether its a rivalry game or homecoming there is an epic party waiting around every corner. Beat a rival? Throw a party to celebrate. Lose to a rival? Throw a party to get over it. Then there is homecoming--which is party before and after the game just because.

South Carolina is celebrating homecoming this weekend with a game against Mississippi State--a decent team  but they should have little trouble winning. It should be entertaining enough, but the good stuff--that's coming during the week.



It seems that there is a content on campus where students get to compete for the title of Carolina's No. 1 Fan--pretty cool and not an uncommon thing for homecoming week festivities. The young lady in the above video is sure hoping to win the honor. She wants it so much that she has parodied the artist formerly known as Hannah Montana.

Watch it and I think you'll agree that she deserves to be in contention. So if you are on campus for the pep rally go vote for her:


I'm assuming that its a pep rally so if I'm wrong I apologize to all the Gamecocks fans. You see, when I typed 'cock fest' into a search engine everything that came up was, well--inappropriate.

I get where the name comes from--short for gamecocks--but, ummm...come on! Was Gamecocks Fest too long of a name? Not a good ring to it?

But Cock Fest? Is that really any better?
