Toby Gerhart Wants To Play And Will Run Over His Teammates to Prove It!

Toby Gerhart was a beast for the Stanford Cardinals. During his final season he was the runner up for the Heisman trophy (won by Mark Ingram). In his last two seasons he gained over 3200 yards from scrimmage and scored 43 touchdowns--43!

Yet, since he plays behind Adrian Peterson in Minnesota he does not get the chance to play very often. So when he does he has to make the most of it!

Over the course of his first three seasons he carried the ball 240 times and scored three touchdowns (one in each season)--a far cry from the kind of load he was accustomed to in college.

So when he got the chance to break through to the promise land for the first time this season I totally get why he refused to let his own teammate--Greg Jennings--get in the way!
