Alternate Uniforms for Army/Navy Game Are What Swagger is All About

Alternate uniforms are the 'in' thing now for many college teams. Oregon is famous for them along with many other teams. They have become a common enough thing that one team announced last week that it was not going to break out a special alternate uniform for a game (I can't remember who, but it was a major program).

We have seen a ton of uniforms over the course of the season, but I think that the best has been saved for last.

The Army/Navy game is one of the biggest and oldest rivalry games in college football having played 113 times dating back to 1890. The game may not impact the national title scene like it once did, but it remains one of the most respected games of the season.

These guys don't play for their NFL futures. They are not looking for contracts or meeting with agents. No, they are playing the game the way it is supposed to be played--for the love it and for their school. Oh--and in their case for love of country as well.

So it is only fitting that they be outfitted with some fresh, new swag going into the 114th edition of the rivalry:
