Jadeveon Clowney Shows that J.J. Watt is Not the Only Swat Master

No player has been as maligned as South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (yes, not even Johnny Manziel). The big man has been doubted and discounted all season long for not producing highlight reel worthy hits on every play. What his detractors don't realize is that a defensive lineman's true worth is not in those kinds of plays.

More like this kind of play.

From Bleacher Report
Clowney has not had the stats or highlight reel hits because everyone is keying on him now--as they very well should. Even when teams do try their best he is often still able to have an impact.

Like he did here by jumping up and swatting the ball down against Mississippi State.

His detractors may have put enough doubt into the minds of NFL GMs to keep him from going No. 1 in the draft, but whoever does pick him is going to be very, very happy.
