Miami's Duke Johnson Out for the Season After Breaking Ankle Against FSU

A rough night has gotten a lot worse for the Miami Hurricanes. After seeing running back Duke Johnson carted off the field the team went on to lose to the Florida State Seminoles 41-14. Now they are hearing that they will have to play without Johnson for the rest of the season due to a broken ankle.

From Bleacher Report
On fourth and two late in the game and down 35-14 the team opted to go for it. Johnson tried to take it up the middle, but was denied by the 'Noles defense. In the process he was absolutely battered before finally going to the ground (see above).

Miami entered the game undefeated and ranked seventh in the nation. They will definitely drop after Saturday night's loss, but the big question will be how will they do without him.

That is an issue they will have to deal with ahead of the Virginia Tech game next week.
