There is a lot of talk in and around Philly about the need to find a franchise quarterback. Even if he can stay healthy it isn't Michael Vick anymore; he's too old. Matt Barkley was drafted with those aspirations, but has looked far from being NFL ready.
That leaves Nick Foles. After a dreadful performance against Dallas there was not a lot of confidence in him but that has probably changed.

No. 1--2 yards to Brent Celek |
Foles was a man on a mission Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. They couldn't stop him and he couldn't miss starting with his first touchdown of the day--the 2-yard pass to Brent Celek you see above--and ending with his seventh of the day to Riley Cooper late in the third quarter.
Yes, seven touchdowns folks--that ties the record for most TDs in a single game; something he could have easily broken had he been allowed to play more than a series in the fourth. Anyway...
Here are the other six of the record setting touchdowns:
No. 2--17 yards to Riley Cooper |
No. 3--63 yards to Riley Cooper |
No. 4--15 yards to Zach Ertz |
No. 5--25 yards to LeSean McCoy |
No. 6--46 yards to DeSean Jackson |
No.7--5 yards to Riley Cooper |
