Cam Newton Pulls Out Win Over Saints With Late Game Heroics

Fans are well aware of Cam Newton's affinity for superheros like Superman and Batman. He can often be seen sporting Superman or Batman inspired cleats, and it is not unusual to see him  wearing similarly inspired socks (sometimes with a cape!).

Of course when you wear the gear you have to act accordingly; you have to be heroic. You know; kind of like how Cam was Sunday against New Orleans.

Win and you are talking control of the division; lose and its time to battle it out for a wild card. 

With the game on the line, less than a minute on the clock and 65 yards to go Cam did what any decent superhero would do--he led the team down the field and threw the game winning TD to Domenik Hixon with 23 seconds left on the clock

The win puts the Panthers back in the playoffs for the first time since 2008. With a win against the woeful Falcons next week Carolina can wrap up a first round bye and the division title.
