Cleveland Browns Fire Head Coach Rob Chudzinski

Until the ax falls all the talk about who will and will not be fired on Black Monday is just pure speculation. However, sometimes we don't have to wait till Monday to find out the fate of certain coaches. Sometimes the news comes within hours after the end of the final regular season game. Grey Sunday?

The first to officially fall comes as no surprise.

After one season the Cleveland Browns have decided to part ways with Rob Chudzinski.

Anytime a coach goes 4-12 getting canned should not come as a surprise in the NFL. With the league stuck in a results now type of mentality he failed to come through losing one more game than the 2012 Browns.

While he didn't do a great job I don't think he stunk up the place like some of the Browns more recent coaches. There were several games that the Browns played well in, but were simply outplayed by a better team. That has just as much to do with the lack of talent on the roster (right Mr. GM?) than the coaching staff.

I can't help but wonder if the team's fortune would have been different if Brian Hoyer had not been knocked out for the season after two starts--both wins.
