Could Nick Saban Be Contemplating a Return to the NFL?

The Nick Saban/Mack Brown drama has been fun to watch, but like most dramas its starting to get old--time for a new twist to the saga.

Word is that Nick Saban has had a contract extension from Alabama on his desk for a few days now. The world has assumed that he has yet to sign it because he is still pondering heading over to Texas, but has to see how the Mack Brown mess pans out.

But what if it was something else that was keeping him from signing that extension? Something like oh, say--another shot at the NFL? Maybe with the Houston Texans?

There is no indication that the two sides have talked, and its been made public knowledge that the Texans were looking to get someone with NFL experience (Saban has some; just not good experience). So why is this even being discussed?
