Just ask Cris Carter did in regards to the Dallas Cowboys during Monday Night Countdown.
If there is any team that should be down it's the Cowboys. After getting out to an 26-3 first half lead and generating more offense in the first half than the team ever had the 'Boys lost to the Packers and made Matt Flynn look like a Hall of Famer in the process.
The loss is due to their own mistakes of course, of which there were many. There is no questioning that, but rather than provide any insight or thoughtful commentary about the state of the team Carter acted like an angry fan and said what many were probably thinking as they watched the game (CoachingSearch):

“Well, let me tell you what they are. They’re like when you go through the drive-thru and say you want a No. 2 and they ask you if you want it jumbo-sized or super-sized. They (the Cowboys) are super sorry, Boom. I’m talking about sorry.
“They are a sorry football team; they are a sorry outfit and I don’t even know why we have great expectations for them. Like they are sorry. Not sorry like ‘I’m sorry I talked to you that way.’ Sorry as in performance. And I don’t’ expect it to change and I don’t expect it to get any better. I don’t expect Jerry to come up with any… This is what Jerry is doing right now. It’s going to be this way for a long time.”
He didn't say what any Dallas fan hasn't already thought, but if that was what we wanted to hear all we had to do was pop open a beer and talk to our buddies instead. Heck, they would have made it a little more colorful and entertaining (I'm sure Carter though about doing so but he was on TV).
ESPN was once the industry leader in actual news. It probably still is, but that's because there isn't enough competition. Now that FOXSports 1 is here maybe we'll get lucky and that will change.
Till than this what ESPN calls news:
